Miyaura Kento was named MVP for the third consecutive game! Paris Saint-Germain beat Nice 3-0 to record their third consecutive league win!

In the 13th round of the French Men's Volleyball League, Paris, where Miyaura Kento plays, played against Nice on Saturday, December 30th (local time) and won 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-20). Miyaura Kento was selected as MVP for the third consecutive game, with 20 points, the most for both teams.

Match Report

In the first set, Nice made a series of mistakes early on, giving Paris a 5-1 lead. After that, Paris maintained the lead at 11-8 with spikes from OP Miyaura, but Nice tied the score at 11-11 with spikes from OH Schalk. However, Paris again widened the gap to 19-15 with a service ace from MB Marcet and a spike from OH Panou. In the end, OH Kovacevic scored consecutive spikes to give Paris the set 25-20.

In the second set, thanks to a spike from OP Miyaura and a block from MB Wetter, Paris took an early lead of 8-4. Nice closed the gap to 2 points in the middle of the set with a block from MB Archong and a spike from OH Koprivica at 15-13, but a block from OH Kovacevic put Paris at 17-13. Nice then closed the gap to 1 point at 19-18 with a spike from substitute OP Paolinec (Brazil), but Paris again extended their lead to 23-19 with a service ace from OP Miyaura. Finally, OP Miyaura scored a spike to give Paris the set 25-21.

In the third set, OH Panou's consecutive service aces put Paris in the lead at 4-1. After that, Nice tied the score at 10-10 with a spike from OP Hirsch and a block from OH Schalk, and the match progressed with a battle for side-outs at 15-15. However, MB Wetter's block and a spike from OH Panou put Paris in the lead at 19-15, and OP Miyaura's final spike gave Paris the lead at 25-20.

As a result, Paris Saint-Germain won 3-0 against Nice.
