Meet our team
Last season, he made a shocking debut in the Italian league, eventually becoming the league's top scorer.MozicVerona's achievements are still fresh in our memories.
His energetic performances are still going strong this season and there is no doubt that Mozic will remain the centre of the team, but they have also added two strong young players.
First, the outsideKeita. A 21-year-old from the Republic of Mali in Africa, he played in the Korean league for two seasons until last season and broke the record for the most individual awards. Although he still has some issues with his serve reception, his serves and spikes from an incredible height of nearly 380cm are amazing. Also, his airplane pose (?) after scoring is cute (lol).

The other is the opposite from Russia.SapodzhukovHe is an astonishing 220cm tall, even taller than Muserski (Suntory). I think he is probably the tallest active volleyball player. He can spike and block with ease without jumping (lol). He is still rough around the edges and makes mistakes and blocks often, but once he gets going he is unstoppable, surpassing Mozic to become the team's number one source of points.
In addition, the veteran outside reservePerrinIt is also a reliable presence on the team, especially in terms of serve reception, which brings stability to the team.
Verona has already defeated strong teams such as Piacenza and Trento, and is emerging as a dark horse this season. Although they still have some inconsistencies in their play, they are not only on track to surpass last season's results this season, but are also within reach of winning the title.
