Quarterfinals
Here are the quarterfinal matchups and results based on the results of the qualifying rounds:

But just like in the Nations League, they will compete and I'm sure they will show a hopeful match until the end. It will be a hot match that leads to such a future. The third match is against Poland. All of Poland will rejoice at the first Olympic semi-final advancement of the 20th century. The fourth match is against Brazil. Brazil is safe.

From here on, my wishful thinking becomes stronger than my objective predictions (laughs). France will prevent Italy from reaching the finals for the second consecutive tournament. France's match point will probably be Nugapet's service ace. Poland will not be outdone by France and will crush Brazil's 5th consecutive final appearance. Let's pay them back for this year's Nations League final here. Leon was in poor form that time, but he scored 19 points in this match, including 5 service aces. 3rd Place Match
Italy-Brazil 1-3
Italy will want to get revenge for their loss in the Rio final, but Brazil is strong after losing once, so I expect Brazil to win. To be honest, I don't want to give Brazil another medal since they've won too much since the 21st century, but their play is great, they have good players, and their captain Bruno is a great person, so I can't hate them (lol). Sorry Italy (lol). So Brazil gets the bronze medal.

I wanted to see this final from the beginning. It's safe to say that this project was created solely to say that I want to see this final (laughs). In recent years, the top four in the Olympics have been almost fixed as Brazil, Italy, the United States, and Russia, so I want these two teams I support to somehow make a breakthrough. I would like to see a truly new era for men's volleyball, or a moment like that, at this Tokyo Olympics. But in the end, Poland wins. It's a very close match, and France has match point in the fourth set, but Poland still wins. Poland wins the gold medal. Congratulations Poland. All of Poland in tears. I cried too.

Unfortunately, the final tournament results were heavily influenced by my emotions, but Poland managed to win the gold medal. Now Kubiak, Kulek, and Nowakowski can retire from the national team with peace of mind. Kubiak has spoken about his passion for winning a medal at the Olympics in every interview, so as a Polish fan, I can only hope that his wish will come true.
But in sports, you never know what's going to happen, and the Tokyo Olympics in particular is an unprecedented event. That's why there may be unexpected results. I think most of my predictions this time will probably be wrong (laughs).
However, speaking of unusual events, we cannot dispel the concerns about the new coronavirus. I just hope that this tournament will not have a single team withdraw from the tournament due to COVID-19, like Higashiyama High School did in this year's Spring High School Boys' Tournament, and that everyone will stay healthy and the tournament will continue until the end and finish safely.
