Match Report

Nisa led the first and second sets from start to finish. Nisa's high spikes from OP Ventala and OH Gerjot were effective, and they shook up Radom's receivers with effective serves, succeeding in breaking the game and winning the sets (25-22, 25-21).

Miyaura came on as a relief server in both sets.

In particular, in the second set, he pulled away from his opponent with three consecutive breaks, including two consecutive service aces, and decided the outcome of that set.

However, in the third set, substitute setter Novak used the middle effectively to score side outs, and Radom, who was in a rhythm, also scored points with his serves and blocks, and took the lead from the middle of the set onwards.

Nisa also tried to make a comeback by replacing Ventara with Miyaura towards the end of the game, but they were unable to close the gap and Radom took the third set (19-25).

The fourth set was a back-and-forth affair, with one player falling behind and the other catching up. Radom was the first to reach set point, but Nisa fought desperately to hang on.

However, at a crucial moment, Radom made a spike error, allowing Nisa to turn the game around and, finally, with a toss mistake from Radom, Nisa took the set (27-25) to win 3-1.

The MVP was setter Zukowski.

Nysa's next match will be at home against last season's champions and UEFA Champions League winners, Zaksa Kędzierzynkožile, on Friday, 21 October at 20:30 local time.

Thoughts etc.

I was watching this match live.

The venue in Radom was a new gymnasium built last year, so it was clean and had a large capacity, but because of this, there were quite a few empty seats.

Even so, I think there were about 1,500 people in attendance.

Miyaura started on the bench again this day, but still played in every set, and I think he was very lucky to have a big moment in the second set, with two consecutive service aces.

It was also rewarding to see my teammates making a big splash after I scored the second ace (laughs).

We also got to see Miyaura, who was in the warm-up zone, expressing great joy every time one of his teammates scored a point, and greeting each player on the court and patting them on the back during timeouts.

Even when he wasn't playing in the game, his determination to contribute to the team in any way was clearly apparent, and he made me want to support him all over again.

Also, when watching at the venue, Nisa's Ventara and Gerjot had very high hitting points.

In particular, Ventara's spikes are extremely powerful and impressive!!

Miyaura was once again reminded that he was competing for position with such a monster.

But keep up the great work, Miyaken!!!

Also, Radom's OH Rusek is smaller than the libero, but he is actually 182cm tall.

His height is short even by V League standards and is probably the shortest in the Polish league, but his highest height is an amazing 345cm.

Even though he was my enemy, I was fascinated by his outstanding jumping ability (lol).

One of the great things about watching a game in person is that you can make new discoveries like this.

I'm really glad I went to see it!

After today's matches, Nisa's overall record was 3 wins and 1 loss.

We are currently in first place!

Because they have played a lot of games, they will probably be overtaken soon, but it is still an impressive result considering that they were last in the league last year and had to play in relegation matches.

Our next opponent, Zaksa, is a formidable opponent, but Nisa in her current state won't give up easily!

Good luck Nisa!! Good luck Miyaura!!!
