He was promoted to the starting line-up midway through the Tokyo Olympics and won the gold medal, and later became a regular starter at the Paris Olympics, winning the gold medal. Although he tends to be overshadowed by his opposite number OH Nugapet, he is a talented player with excellent balance in offense and defense, and has won league championships in Poland and Turkey with his club teams. In the first week of VNL2025, he supported the young team as captain and point getter.

Like Clévenot, he became a regular in the starting lineup midway through the Tokyo Olympics and contributed to winning two Olympic gold medals. He is known for his aggressive style, making good use of his middle blocker and scoring points with serves, blocks, and sometimes spikes. He is set to play for Osaka Bourthéon in Japan from next season. VNL2024 MVP. He will serve as captain in the second week.
