Alexander Nikolov

Jersey number: 23
Position: Outside hitter
Height: 207cm
Date of Birth: November 30, 2003 (21 years old)
Club: Cucine Lube Civitanova (Italy)

The older brother of the Nikolov brothers. A new generation point getter for the Bulgarian national team, he scores a lot with his sharp spikes and serves that combine height and power. He will play for the Italian powerhouse Civitanova from 2022, and last season he was a starter in the Coppa Italia championship. He leads the Bulgarian national team together with his younger brother Simeon. His father is Vladimir, a Bulgarian national team player who won the bronze medal at the 2006 World Championships.

Simeon Nikolov

Jersey number: 1
Position: Setter
Height: 208cm
Date of Birth: November 24, 2006 (18 years old)
Club: Lokomotiv Novosibirsk (Russia)

The younger of the Nikolov brothers. His weapons are the overwhelming height of the toss and the destructive power of his serve, which can reach up to 130 km/h. He also spikes the ball when he gets the chance. Last season, he won the NCAA championship and was named MVP. Next season, he will play for the powerful Russian team Novosibirsk. He is still only 18 years old and can be unstable as a setter, but he is definitely one of the players who will become an icon in the volleyball world in the future.
