On Tuesday, April 22nd (local time), the third match of the Italian Serie A Women's PO Final between Conegliano (Seki Nanami) and Milan (Fukudome Keimi's team) was held, with Conegliano winning 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-21). As a result, Conegliano's final record was 3-0 and they were crowned the Italian League champions.
Milan's L Fukudome started the match as a starter, while Conegliano's S Seki started on the bench.
In the first set, Milano took the lead 3-5 with OP Egonu's spikes, but Conegliano quickly turned the game around with OP Haak and OH Gabi's spikes to take it 10-7. From there, Milano closed the gap to 15-14 with an ace from OP Egonu and an attack from S Ollo, and then tied the score at 19-19 with an OH Dalderop spike. However, Conegliano got the set point at 24-22 with an OP Haak spike, but in the end, OP Egonu's spike made an error and Conegliano took the set 25-22.
In the second set, Conegliano took the lead 7-4 with OP Haak's spikes and other efforts. After that, Conegliano continued to score points with OH Gabi's spikes, OP Haak's spikes and service aces, and extended his lead to 18-12. Milan made it 20-16 with a block from MB Kurtagic, but Conegliano then steadily scored side outs with OH Gabi and OP Haak, winning the set 25-20.
The third set was a close one from the beginning, with Conegliano scoring mainly through OP Haake and OH Gabi, while Milano scored mainly through OP Egonu and OH Cazorto, leading to a score of 17-17. However, Conegliano then took the lead with a service ace from OH Gabi and others, leading to a score of 21-17. Milano closed the gap to 23-21 with a spike from OP Egonu, but in the end, OH Cazorto's spike was caught by a block from S. Vołosz, and Conegliano won the set at 25-21. As a result, Conegliano won 3-0 and secured the Scudetto.
The stats for the match areHere.
Conegliano defeated his rival in straight sets, following the second match, and won the final with only one set loss. In this match, too, he and Milan had some close sets until the middle of the match, but once again, the difference in concentration at the end of the set determined the outcome. While Conegliano was able to score points at the crucial moment, Milan made the first mistake.
The MVP of the tournament was OH Gabi. In this match, she scored 16 points (13 attacks, 1 serve, 2 blocks), the second highest on the team, and supported the team on both offense and defense with an attack effectiveness rate of 501 TP3T and a serve reception success rate of 60%. There is no doubt that she was the player who brought balance to Conegliano this season.

The player with the most points was OP Haack, with 22. He made some mistakes in this game, but he was a really reliable opposite who made sure to score when he needed to.
Unfortunately, S. Seki did not play in this match.

Milan's L. Fukudome was in the starting lineup for the second time in a row and supported the team with his dedicated defense, but unfortunately he was once again blocked by Conegliano's powerful attackers.

However, S. Seki became the first Japanese female player to win the Italian League, and L. Fukudome became the first runner-up. Both players achieved a great feat in their first year of overseas challenge.
This is Conegliano's eighth title in seven consecutive seasons (excluding the season canceled due to COVID-19), and his fourth title this season after the Supercoppa, World Club Championship, and Coppa Italia. All that remains is the Final Four of the European Champions League to be held in Istanbul (Turkey) next month.
Milan will also participate in the Final Four of the European Champions League, so the seasons of both Seki and Fukudome are not over yet. Will Conegliano achieve five titles in the Champions League, will Milan get revenge, or will another team win? We will be keeping our eyes on the end of the season.
