Türkiye - China
3-2(23-25, 25-21, 26-24, 21-25, 15-12)
In the only full-set match in the women's quarterfinals, Turkey, who had to leave the game due to injury to S. Ozbay, beat China with OP Vargas's heroic 42 points. The match point came with a two-attack from Sahin. As a result, Turkey advanced to the semifinals for the first time in history. China missed out on a semifinal appearance for the first time in two tournaments since the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Brazil - Dominican Republic
3-0(25-22, 25-13, 25-17)
Brazil, the only team to advance from the qualifying pool without losing a set, both men's and women's, dominated the Dominican Republic in the quarterfinals with attacks and blocks, and won in straight sets. Captain OH Gabi led the team with 20 points. Brazil advanced to the semifinals for the second consecutive tournament. Dominican Republic lost in the quarterfinals for the first time in two consecutive tournaments.
USA-Poland
3-0 (25-22,25-14, 25-20)
The Tokyo Olympic champions, USA, defeated Poland, who were aiming for their first semi-final appearance, in straight sets. Poland struggled to score attacks against the USA's defense, while the USA scored points by using their three wing attackers, OH Skinner, OH Plummer, and OP Drewes, in a well-balanced manner.
Italy - Serbia
3-0(26-24, 25-20, 25-20)
Italy's OP Egonu and Serbia's OP Boskovic faced off against the world's top opposites, with Italy coming out on top. Italy took advantage of blocks including MB Danesi against Serbia, who made many mistakes, and won in straight sets. Italy advanced to the semifinals for the first time in history. Meanwhile, Serbia missed out on a semifinal appearance for the third consecutive tournament.
