Slovenia won the former Yugoslavia Derby without any trouble. OP Štern scored the most points of both teams with 25, and the attacking efficiency rate was 55.881 TP3T. With this, Slovenia secured at least 2nd place in Pool A and advanced to the quarterfinals.
France-Canada

After a tough first match in a full set, France showed overwhelming strength against Canada and won in straight sets. OP Patry and OH Ngape each scored the most points for the team with 13, while S Brizard dominated the game with four consecutive service aces in the first set and six aces in total in the match. As a result, France, following Slovenia, secured at least second place in Pool A and advanced to the quarterfinals.

2022 World Champions Italy beat Egypt 3-0. OH Lavia and OP Romano led both teams with 14 points each. Italy could still finish third in Pool B, but they are guaranteed a place in the quarterfinals as they cannot finish last out of the three places.

The USA took the first two sets in a row, but Germany's substitute S. Tille turned the tide and won two sets in a row, taking the match to a full set. In the fifth set, the USA took control with MB Holt's serve and won the fierce battle. OH Defalco was the top scorer for the USA with 18 points, and OH Kaliczek was the top scorer for Germany with 21 points. The USA has qualified for the quarterfinals for the same reason as Italy.
