Toshiki: Congratulations on your silver medal. How are you feeling now?

Miyaura: I'm really happy that I've stepped up a level from last year's results. However, I'm a little disappointed that I lost today's match, but I want to carry that feeling into the next Olympics.

Toshiki: Unfortunately, you lost the match, but you came on to the court halfway through and it looked like you were giving the team a lot of energy. How did you feel when you came on to the court halfway through?

Miyaura: I was really just conscious of giving it my all, and I went all out in the hope that I could make even the slightest difference on the court.

Toshiki: What do you think went well and what were the most difficult things for you?

Miyaura: I made some mistakes with my serves and spikes, but I think I was hitting good spikes. However, I was blocked out a lot, so I think I need to work on that during the match.

Toshiki: I think you had fewer opportunities to play this year compared to last year's Nations League, but what are your thoughts looking back on this year's Nations League as a whole?

Miyaura: Personally, I often play in situations where we have to make two substitutions, but I don't think I've been able to perform to the best of my ability there yet. I think I can do a lot more, so I think that's why the Nations League has been so frustrating. Nishida has been in great form in this tournament and has really led the team, so I hope that when Nishida doesn't do well there, I can do my best on the court.

Toshiki: There is less than a month left until the Olympics. What areas would you like to focus on in particular until the Olympics?

Miyaura: Personally, I feel there are many areas where I need to improve when it comes to blocking, so I would like to practice that more and more.

Toshiki: What do you think about the qualifying rounds for the Paris Olympics?

Miyaura: I don't think there will be any easy matches, and no matter what group I'm in I think the matches will be really difficult, so I think each and every match will be important.
