Toshiki: How do you feel looking back on today's game?.
Tille: It was a very difficult match. Italy served very well and had a strong attacking mentality, so they quickly took control of the match. But it was good that we were able to hang on. We managed to chip away at their confidence in the long match, and we played well until the end.
Toshiki: You entered the court midway through the match and I think you definitely played a part in changing the flow of the match. What were you thinking when you entered the court?
Tille: I wanted to give energy to the team by doing everything I could, such as by giving receptions. I'm glad I was able to do that. I'm going to have a good rest now.
Toshiki: It was your ace that decided the match point. What was going through your mind at that moment?
Tiri: We had to be aggressive in the final moments, so we did.
However, that was out of the question (laughs).
Video challenge, Hawkeye doesn't seem to be doing a very good job. Even in yesterday's game with Poland, the block by Poland was right on the line but the call was out.
I am happy that they called it an in this time, but that would change if the situation changed.
Toshiki: Your next opponent in the semi-finals will be Poland. How do you plan to prepare for the tournament?
Tiri: I think it will be a physically tough match. They have a very strong serve. However, we know them well, so we will try to play our own style of volleyball.
Toshiki: What do you think might be the key?
Tiri: Our serves and the reception of their serves, and of course our spiking. We have to be aggressive with our spiking.
Toshiki: And we also have to deal with the Polish fans.
Tiri: Yeah (laughs), that's right.
