In the second match of the third place playoff match of the Italian Men's Volleyball League, Yuki Ishikawa's Milan team faced Trentino on Saturday, April 20th local time and won 3-2 (26-24, 17-25, 25-16, 25-27, 22-20).
After the match, we spoke with Milan's Paolo Porro (setter, Italy).
Interview with Porro
Toshiki: Congratulations on your victory. This is your first win against Trentino this season. How was today's match?
Porro: Trentino is a great team. They have a lot of good players with height. But we played well. We had some bad moments, but I'm glad we won in the end.
Toshiki: Your performance today was especially amazing. You served a lot of aces and even your block was the deciding point for the match.
Porro: I scored a lot of points today. My serve is important for the team, and I can still improve on my blocking.
Toshiki: You will be travelling to Trento to play again, how will you fight next time?
Porro: Yes, we're playing at home to Trentino next time. We'll play with the same passion as we did today. But no matter what happens, it's a Champions League spot at stake, so I'm very happy to be on this stage.
