Toshiki's Tweets
It was a quick game. It may have been the most disappointing game of the season (laughs).
In the three sets, they had 14 blocks, a team attack effectiveness rate of over 60%, and only three service aces, which were not particularly high, but they kept the opponent's receivers down throughout the game and prevented Narbonne from creating any good situations.
MVP Mottapaes is a setter, but he scored a total of 6 points with attacks, blocks, and serves, showing his scoring power. I also thought that his use of the pipes was very good in terms of the set.
I think he successfully confused the opposing blockers with a combination of a quick shot from the middle that made it impossible to tell at a glance which way the shot went.
I feel that the setting of A quick and pipe, or B quick and left, where it's not immediately clear which way to go, is a very effective attack even at the top level.
Although Miyaura had two blocks, he performed well in this match with a high attack efficiency rate. If I had to be greedy, I would have liked to see a service ace (laughs).
Conde, who was on the same team as Miyaura, had the most points with 12. Moreover, his attack efficiency rate was 81.81%! He really made a hit, whether it was a strong hit or a soft hit. It would not have been strange if he had been the MVP.
Then Kai played as an outside hitter in the final stages of the third set, standing side by side with Miyaura at the net.
His spikes were 2/2, with a 100% success rate, just like in the previous match, and his serve receives were also successful, although they were not A passes.
Above all, the cheers of the Paris fans when he scored the goal were amazing. They were the loudest in the game.
I am very happy that Kai, like his senior Miyaura, has become a player beloved by the fans.
