Interview with Yuto Kai
T: How do you feel looking back on the match?
Kai: In the second set, I was able to serve in a close match and get a good break, so I think that was a good thing.
T: What were you thinking when you served in the second set?
Kai: First of all, we were able to score a goal, and we were able to break down the opponent's defense and force them into making a mistake, so I think that was good.
T: How do you analyze the reasons for your team's victory today?
Kai: There were many instances where we were blocked, and watching from the outside it was a bit worrying, but we all covered for each other, and I think that's why we were able to win in straight sets.
T: It's been about a month since our last interview. How has this past month been?
Kai: There were still many things I wasn't used to, but (now) I've been able to fit in well with the team, so I'd like to continue working harder and harder here.
T: You are still surrounded by many fans, what do you think about your fans in Paris?
Kai: I'm really happy that so many people overseas are watching me, so I'd like to keep working hard so that I can play in more and more games.
