In the Coppa Italia semi-finals of the Italian men's volleyball tournament, Monza, where Takahashi Ai plays, faced Trentino on Saturday, January 27th local time, and won 3-2 (23-25, 25-13, 23-25, 25-23, 15-9).
Arthur Schwartz's post-match comments

T: Congratulations on your victory.
Schwartz: Thank you. It was an unexpected game. It was up and down a lot, but it was a best-of-five match and I was able to come back in the fourth set. We were trailing by a few points, three or four points, but we kept playing aggressively and that's what got us the final result.
T: How was Takahashi's withdrawal affected you?
Schwartz: Without Ai, we all had to get ready again. It took a little extra practice, but it paid off. We're always thinking about Ai. He wasn't here, but he sent us a message before the game, and we came out to play today.
T: How will you prepare for tomorrow's match?
SCHWARTZ: It doesn't matter who wins (in the upcoming semifinals), it doesn't matter who we play. We've got to play our game, and we're going to win.
