Post-match interview with Kento Miyaura
T: How do you feel looking back on the match?
In the first set, our serves were going well and we had a good game, or rather, we had a large lead in points. Then in the second set, we started off well, but in the second half, we made some strange mistakes and it felt like we lost our rhythm. From then on, our opponents started hitting some really good serves, and we just couldn't hold on, or rather, I think the reason we lost today was because we couldn't score points in difficult situations.
T: The French League is now halfway through the regular season. How do you feel about the season so far?
Miyaura: I wasn't in good form at the start of the first half, but my form started to improve from the middle of the game, so I would like to continue to improve that.As a team, it is still a matter of whether we can make the playoffs, so we must take each game seriously and not play like we did today.I would like to switch gears from the next game and take each game seriously.
T: What do you think of Kai Yuto, who joined the team this year?
Miyaura: His strengths are his good serve and his strong offensive power, so I think he can show those more, so he should get used to it. Also, he needs to communicate in the reception area, so I think it would be good if he could understand the language better and be able to communicate more himself.
