In the second round of the second half of the Italian Men's Volleyball League, Milan, where Ishikawa Yuki plays, played against Piacenza on Saturday, January 6th (local time) and lost 2-3 (23-25, 25-21, 25-19, 19-25, 13-15). Ishikawa Yuki entered the game as a substitute in each set but did not score any points.

Match Report
In the first set, Milan took the lead at 5-3 with a spike from OP Dilic and a service ace from MB Rosell, but a service ace from OH Retigne and a block from S Brizard allowed Piacenza to take the lead 6-7. Milan then took the lead again with a spike and block from MB Rosell, taking the lead 11-9, but Piacenza continued to make serve errors and Milan maintained the lead, leading to a 19-17 lead. However, OP Dilic continued to attack and made mistakes, putting Piacenza in front again at 19-20, and OH Lucarelli's spike put them in the lead at 23-24. Finally, Milan made a touch net error and Piacenza took the set 23-25.
In the second set, OP Romano's service ace gave Piacenza a 1-4 lead from the beginning. However, in the middle of the set, MB Rosell's spike tied the score at 10-10, and then MB Vitelli's block and OH Kaziyski's service ace gave Milano a 18-16 lead. In the final stages, OH Kaziyski's spikes and other efforts led to a break, and in the end, OP Romano's attack error gave Milano a 25-21 lead in the set.
In the third set, Piacenza took the lead 3-5 with spikes from OP Gironi (Italy) and OH Lucarelli, who started the set. However, Milan turned the game around with spikes and blocks from MB Vitelli to 7-6, and then OP Dilic's spikes and blocks extended the lead to 12-9. Milan continued to score with spikes from OP Dilic and OH Kaziyski, and by the end of the set they had a large lead of 20-14. In the end, a serve error from Piacenza made it 25-19 and Milan took the set.
In the fourth set, MB Simon's spikes helped Piacenza to pull ahead at 2-5 from the start. Milan then tied the score at 8-8 with a service ace from S. Porro, but OH Retine's spikes and MB Simon's blocks allowed Piacenza to break and fall behind at 10-14. Milan soon closed the gap to 13-14 with a block from MB Piano (Italy), who entered the match as a substitute, but MB Simon's service ace and an attack mistake from Milan allowed Piacenza to widen the gap to 14-19. From there, Piacenza consistently got side outs, and finally OH Retine's spike was successful, giving Piacenza the set at 19-25.
In the fifth set, Piacenza started off leading 2-4 with a spike from OH Lucarelli and a block from MB Simon. After that, Milano scored four consecutive breaks with a spike and block from OP Dirlic and a spike from OH Melgarejo, turning the game around to 7-4. However, consecutive spikes from OH Lucarelli tied the score at 9-9 for Piacenza, and then relief server OP Romano scored two consecutive service aces to turn the game around to 10-12. Milano wanted a break, but a series of serve errors put Piacenza first to take match point at 12-14, and finally MB Simon scored a spike to win the set at 13-15.
As a result, Milan lost 3-2 to Piacenza.
