Toshiki: Now, let me ask you about your transfer to Osaka Bulleteon. What were your honest thoughts when you received the offer?
Brizard: Honestly, I was surprised because it's been a while since Japan has had a foreign setter. I was surprised, but I was also very happy.
Toshiki: You will be the first setter to play in the top league in Japan since Roy Ball (former US national team player and former Toray Arrows player). How do you feel about this?
Brizard: I did a little research on him because he's a legend in the sport. He started his pro career in Japan right after college, so it's a different situation than me. But I'm already getting a lot of love and support from Japanese fans, so I'm really looking forward to it.
Toshiki: What are you most looking forward to in Japan?
Brizard: For me, coming from Europe, Japan is a completely different culture and world, so I'm really looking forward to it. I'm really excited to get to know Japanese traditions and culture. Of course, I want to be respectful of the Japanese people, because it's a completely different cultural sphere.
I'm looking forward to that, and I'm also very interested in how Osaka Bulleteon is run. It's one of the best clubs in the world. I've also heard that they take great care of their players and their families, which I think is great. The team is also known as a winning team, and my biggest goal is to win, so I'm really glad I got to join this team.
