The fourth round of the Polish men's volleyball first division, Plusliga, has ended. Rubin, which includes Japanese national team setter Seita Sekita, played against Suwałki, who placed 7th last season, at home and won their first game of the season with a straight 3-0 victory. Sekita was also selected as the MVP of the match.
Sekita's tosses were brilliant from the start of the day. Sekita focused on attacks from the center area, such as his pipes and quicks, and Rubin's attackers responded to his tosses in an entertaining way. Walinski, who scored the most points on the day with 17, was in top form with an attack efficiency rate of 56%, and the team as a whole also had a high attack efficiency rate of 53%. In addition, all three players on the sides scored double digits, and the two in the middle scored more than five points each, making for an ideal game in which tosses were distributed in a balanced manner to all five attackers. In addition, Sekita himself scored three points each with a serve, a block, and two attacks. His game-making was almost perfect, and he performed so well that he was worthy of being named MVP. Congratulations on your first win!
In addition, the match between Saksa, who finished second in the Polish league last season and won the European Champions League, and Warsaw, who finished third last season, was a fierce battle that went to full sets. Thanks to the efforts of Grobelny, a Belgian of Polish descent who was once a teammate of Masahiro Yanagida at Lubin, Warsaw took the first two sets, but from the fourth set onwards, Saksa, with the Polish national team players such as Kaczmarek and Huber stepping up, won two sets in a row to take the victory. Also, Lublin, who was promoted from the second division this season, won their first victory in the Przliga with a 3-0 victory over Katowice.
