In the second round of the French Men's Volleyball League, Paris, where Miyaura Kento plays, played against Tours at home on Saturday, October 28th local time, and won 3-1 (25-21, 25-15, 21-25, 26-24).

Kento Miyaura started as an opposite and contributed to the victory with a team-high 23 points.

Match Report

In the first set, OP Miyaura scored an ace right off the bat, but the score remained the same and the match continued at 7-7. After that, a mistake by Tour put Paris ahead at 11-8, and then OH Panou's pipe attack and MB Wetter's block extended their lead to 17-13. In the final stages, Paris continued to score points with MB Marce's consecutive blocks, and finally, an error on the opponent's serve gave Paris the set 25-21.

In the second set, OP Miyaura scored a spike and a service ace right from the start, and OH Panu also scored an ace, giving Paris a 6-2 lead. After that, OH Kovacevic's service ace and OP Miyaura's powerful spikes and blocks helped Paris widen the gap to 12-6. In the final stages, consecutive points were scored to give Paris a large lead of 22-11, and finally OH Panu scored a high ball to give Paris a 25-15 win.

At the start of the third set, Tours led 1-5 with OP Aboubakar's service aces and spikes, but Paris caught up with OH Panou's two consecutive service aces to make it 5-5. From there, the game continued to be close, but in the middle of the game Tours consistently scored service aces and blocks, and Paris made some mistakes, allowing Tours to take the lead 15-20. In the final stages, Paris held on with spikes from OP Miyaura and OH Panou, but they were unable to score consecutive points, and in the end, MB Leandro's spike made it 21-25 and Tours took the set.

The fourth set was a close one until it was 8-8, but a series of errors from Paris put Tours ahead at 8-12. From there, Paris scored consecutive points with spikes from OP Miyaura and MB Marcet, closing the gap to 18-19, but an ace from MB Parkinson widened the gap again to 18-22. However, towards the end, aces from OH Panou and MB Marcet helped Paris tie the score at 23-23, and the game went to deuce, when OP Miyaura hit a difficult high ball to put Paris on match point at 25-24. Finally, a block from MB Wetter gave Paris the win at 26-24.

The result was a 3-1 victory for Paris Saint-Germain.

OP Miyaura Kento had the most points on the team with 23 points (2 on serves and 1 on blocks) and an attack success rate of 59%.
