Toshiki's comment

Following the first leg at home they lost to Nantes...

Nantes is one of the most technically skilled teams in the French league, and Paris had a hard time countering their skills.

The setter, Shaboisan, is a perfect example of this. He has a big belly, but he's extremely good at it (laughs).

He is still young at 20 years old, and is a rival to Mottapaez of Paris who is the same generation. If he loses weight, I think he will be able to join the French national team right away, if he loses weight (laughs).

Paris could not break Nantes' reception with their serves. Although they had three aces, it was tough when more than half of the balls were returned with an A pass.

On the other hand, Nantes' blocking and receiving from serves seemed to work well.

I think Miyaura's individual performance was good, but it was frustrating for Panu as his attacks didn't go in.

However, he was worth it in his place and put in a good performance. In particular, the scene at the end of the third set where he broke his serve consecutively and took the match to deuce was thrilling.

It was a pity because if they had incorporated the set there, they could have easily aimed for a comeback victory. However, I think it was a good opportunity for Kai to show his skills, and I hope that this will lead to more opportunities for him to play in the future!

Either way, they're still in 8th place in the league and on the brink of missing the playoffs, so I hope they do their best to win all three remaining games!!
