Thoughts on the match etc.
The first half of the match against Lviv was Miyaura's first time in the starting lineup, so I was watching the game thinking that he might start again this time, but unfortunately that was not the case.
OP Ventara has been doing really well lately, so it can't be helped.
In this match too, Ventala demonstrated his monstrous abilities, achieving a remarkable feat of turning the game around from 18-23 down with five aces and six breaks.
Miyaura's 8 breaks in the previous match were amazing, but this time, he turned the situation around at 18-23, when it looked like his opponent was sure to win the set, and 5 of his 6 breaks were direct service aces!!
My eyes were already wide open on the screen when they made those two consecutive goals, but when they tied the score I couldn't help but let out a yell, and when they took the lead again it was so incredible I could only laugh, and when they won the set I was just dumbfounded (laughs).

If they do something like that, Miyaura's service ace into the net and Gerjot's two consecutive service aces will all be for nothing...
Ventala's spike efficiency in this game was 361 TP3T, and he conceded a lot of points, so I don't think he was in top form, but this play instantly snatched the MVP award.
The atmosphere at the venue must have been crazy...
Lviv was also an interesting and good team with all three side attackers being left-handed, but their serves were not strong enough to beat Nysa and they made quite a few mistakes in attack.
Still, I was happy to see that OH Quaren, former player of FC Tokyo (now Tokyo GB), performed so well.
Also, the cheers of the Lviv side were quite audible during this match.
I guess Ukrainian people living nearby came to support them.
It's already been a full year since Russia invaded Ukraine.
There are still many casualties from this war, and when it comes to volleyball, the Russian team has still been banned from international competitions since the invasion.
The players were not at fault, but war is truly a terrible thing, causing casualties in many different ways and in many different places.
I just hope that the war will end as soon as possible.
