Match Report
Early in the first set, Gdansk's OP Bo Won Ju scored consecutive points with a spike and a service ace, and Nisa responded with an ace from OH Gerjot to take a 5-3 lead.
However, Gdansk's OH Sawicki and MB Urbanowicz hit aces to allow Nysa to take the lead at 6-7, and Gdansk continued to gain breaks with blocks from Urbanowicz to extend their lead to 12-16.
Nisa also scored points with spikes from OP Ventala and OH Gerjot, but they were unable to get a breakthrough, and when the score was 15-21, Miyaura was brought on to replace OP Ventala.
Miyaura scored a powerful spike early on, and with some good serves from MB Abramovic, Nisa succeeded in three consecutive breaks, including a block from Miyaura, and caught up to 18-21, but in the end MB Urbanovic scored a spike and Gdansk took the first set 20-25.
In the second set, OH El Graoui, who had not scored any points in the first set, started to get going and scored spike points one after another to make the score 7-5. OP Ventara then made three consecutive blocks to extend Nisa's lead to 11-7.
Gdansk's OP Bo Won Ju continued to score with his high decisiveness, including a service ace, to close the gap to 19-18, and then OP Ventala was caught in a block, helping the team tie the score at 22-22 in the final minutes.
However, OH Elgraoui then made a solid spike from the right side to get a side out, and then a good serve caused OP Bo Won-ju to make a mistake, giving Nisa a set point, and finally a service ace to take the set back 25-22.
In the third set, Gdansk started the game with OP Vlazuli, who had replaced OH Sawicki midway through the second set, in the OH position.
In this set, Gdansk took the lead throughout the match thanks to their strong serves and well-connected spikes from Nysa.
Nisa managed to hang on in the early stages, trailing 5-6, thanks to blocks from MB Kramczynski, who came on in the middle of the second set, but then Gdansk got three consecutive breaks from MB Niemiec's serve, and then four consecutive breaks, including two aces from MB Urbanowicz's serve, to take a big lead of 9-17.
Here, Nisa again replaced OP Ventara with OP Miyaura, who continued to score side outs in succession.
However, they were unable to get a break from there, and in the end, Gdansk comfortably took the third set 14-25 with a spike from OH Vlazuli.
In the fourth set, Nisa started the game with OP Miyaura, S. Szczurek, and MB Zerba, who they had brought on midway through the third set.
From the early stages, Nisa's OP Miyaura scored consecutive spikes, while Gdansk's OP Bo Won Ju scored with spikes and blocks, leading to a close start with the score at 5-5.
Afterwards, Nisa succeeded in breaking three times in a row on OH Elgraoui's serve due to consecutive mistakes by the opponent to make the score 10-8, but immediately afterwards, OH Vlazuli served again with two consecutive breaks, including an ace of his own, to turn the game around to 10-11, preventing Gdansk from widening the gap to more than three points.
Nisa continued to score points mainly through OP Miyaura, while Gdansk continued to get side outs mainly through OH Vlazuli, as the set drew to a close.
With the score at 20-21, Miyaura's serve bounced off the opposing receiver, and Gdansk's setter Kampa, who tried to toss the ball that was about to go over the net, was called for a foul for going over the net, which looked like it would give Nysa a point, but Gdansk's challenge confirmed that the ball had not gone over the net, and the judge ruled the point a no-count.
Miyaura regained her composure and again made a sharp serve, this time the free ball returned to Nisa's court and was handed to the in-form Miyaura, but unfortunately the ball was blocked by the opponent and Nisa missed the chance to break.
Immediately afterwards, Gdansk's setter Kampa's serve was an ace, putting them down by three points at 20-23.From then on, both teams continued to score side outs, and finally Nysa's relief server Kwasowski's serve went out, giving Gdansk the win at 22-25, and Nysa losing 1-3.
MVP: OP Bartłomiej Bołżž (26 points (2 serves, 3 blocks))
Miyaura played brilliantly, scoring 14 points (including 1 block), tying the team high and setting his own personal record for most points in a single game, with an attack success rate of 721 TP and 3 T, but he was unable to lead his team to victory.
With this, Nisa is now in provisional 6th place with a total of 6 wins, 6 losses and 20 points.
The next match will be against Rzeszów, who are in second place, away from home on Thursday, December 1st at 17:30 local time (1:30 the next day Japan time).
Thoughts etc.
It was a very disappointing result.
It's really disappointing because Miyaura himself gave such an amazing performance.
If Nisa had been able to win that fourth set and go on to win, Miyaura would undoubtedly have been the MVP.
It was that play in the fourth set at 20-21 that looked like a service ace but ended up not being counted.
If that had gone on to become a goal, we really don't know how the game would have turned out.
Those kinds of challenges don't result in any points for the opponent and don't count, but they still cause more mental damage than whether the ball is in or out or whether there is a block touch or not...
But Miyaura was amazing, as he quickly switched gears and delivered another powerful serve.
However, I wish I could have scored the spike right after that.
Basically, in this match, as the numbers 721 TP 3T tell us, if he hit it, it would be a sure thing, like Professor Miyaura! (laughs), but no matter how high the overall success rate is, whether he can make it at a crucial moment like that is another matter.
Next time, I would like to see Miyaura score a goal at a crucial moment and lead his team to victory.
And hopefully, he will become the MVP.

However, I think this match was a good opportunity for Miyaura Kento to prove once again that he is fully capable of competing in the Pulsliga, and I hope that he will be able to take this day in a positive way and move forward.
Personally, I was also very happy to see the opposing team, Gdansk's Vlazuli, in action!

Vlazwi is my number one favorite player, but he's a veteran who turns 39 this year and until last season he was in the starting lineup as an opposite about half the time, but this season he's been a complete reserve.
So it was great to see him play a full role in the game, and what's more, he was playing as a rare outside player, which got me really excited.
His main position is opposite, but since he was selected, he is also a player who can receive the ball.
I could easily write about 5,000 characters about Vlazuli, but I'll stop here for now (lol).

Nisa has suffered two straight losses to teams that looked like they could win.
The next match is an away match against the strong Lesovia Rzeszów, and I'm sure the venue will be packed with Lesovia fans, but I hope the team can somehow win and regain their momentum!
By the way, I plan to be there to watch and cover the next match!!
Stay tuned to see if MVP Miyaura's voice can be heard!!!
