Trentino was strong.

Except for the second set, in which Milano managed to take the set, they were unable to attack with their serves, and instead struggled with their opponents' serves and blocks, allowing Trentino to take the lead in the match.

Kaziyski was targeted by Torentino's serve, which caused Milano's serve reception to be greatly disrupted. As for blocking, Milano's quick attacks, in particular, seemed to be struggling as they were tightly marked by Torentino.

I don't think Ishikawa's overall numbers were that bad individually, but he got blocked at crucial moments, made a serve error towards the end of the set, and made a mistake in the fake set, so it felt like he wasn't able to continue performing at his best when it mattered.

MVP Micheletto's performance was superb. Although there were some parts where the serve reception was disrupted, he hit long shots from high hitting points and mixed in soft shots, making it difficult for Milano to respond. I think there were many scenes where he was hit from above the block.

This was Milan's fourth defeat and they can no longer afford to lose if they want to finish in 8th place or higher at the end of the first half of the season, which is the requirement for qualifying for the Coppa Italia.

The team has reached the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia for the last two seasons in a row, and I think they are aiming to reach the final this year, so I hope they can win all of their games in the first half of the season and secure a ticket to the Coppa Italia.

Our next opponent, Catania, is a club participating in the Superlega for the first time this season and is currently lower than Milan in the rankings, so we'll be looking to get a win in our next game to get us going!

Forza Milano!!
