In the 22nd round of the Polish Men's Volleyball League (Przlyga), Nysza, which is in 8th place and includes Miyaura Kento, played away to 7th place Olsztyn on Friday, January 27th (local time) and lost 1-3 (24-26, 25-22, 15-25, 21-25).
After the match, NISA's Miyaura Kento gave us a comment.
-How do you feel looking back on today's game?
Miyaura: As a team, I don't think our serves were bad, but the opponents were even better, and I think we just couldn't hold on. But we were able to get the touches and blocks well, so I think that was good. Personally, I think I didn't fulfill my role because I was a pinch server and couldn't get the break. There were times when I played as a spiker, but I couldn't do anything, and it was over quickly, so I guess that couldn't be helped. Well, in terms of serving, I wanted to fulfill my role and get the break.
--I heard that there is a player in Olsztyn who you are personally interested in.
Miyaura: The opposite, Butrin (Poland). When it was a close match, the serve came to Butrin, and he took it all at once. Also, when it was a close match, the ball was coming to Butrin, and he was getting touched today, but he still kept swinging full, or rather, he made long full swings and decided at the crucial moment, so I felt that he was really amazing.

--This time, we suffered a painful loss against Olsztyn, who are close to us in the rankings, but next week we have a match against Lublin, who are also close to us in the rankings. Please say something about the match against Lublin.
Miyaura: We have almost the same number of points as Lublin, so if we win one there, our ranking will change a lot, and from now on, all the games will depend on the playoffs, so we will win even one. As a team, we will do our best. As individuals, I hope we can do our best and then go to the playoffs.
*Nysa is currently in 9th place and Lublin is in 8th place, and the condition for advancing to the playoffs is to be in 8th place or higher at the end of the regular season.

Miyaura is paying close attention to the Polish OP Butryn, who is also one of my favorite players.
