The report of this match is here:
After the match, Miyaura Kento gave us a comment.
--How do you feel looking back on today's game?
Miyaura: As a team, we were able to set the pace with our serves throughout the game today, so I think this was really our style. Our players on the sides also did a good job of hitting the high balls, and when the passes were returned we were able to make quick plays effectively, so I think that was really good.
-You had two aces today when it came to serving, but what was your aim with your serve today?
Miyaura: First of all, I was conscious of hitting my best serve... Well, that was really all. I didn't really think about anything in particular, I just tried to hit my best serve. As a result, I was able to break, so I think today went well.
-What is your best serve?
Miyaura: When I'm doing well, I feel like I can roll the ball well. I was conscious of that, and also of tossing the ball to the left so that I could roll the ball well.
--When I got a service ace in the first set, I felt a little disappointed because Gerjot, who usually lifts me up, wasn't on the court, but when I got another ace in the third set, he came off the bench and lifted me up (laughs).
Miyaura: Yes (laughs). I did get an ace, so I thought I could lift him up, but Gerjot wasn't there (in the first set), so I couldn't lift him up (laughs).
- I'd like to ask you about your first start of the season, the match against Lviv two games ago. When was it decided that you would be in the starting lineup for that match?
Miyaura: I was told this during practice two days before the match, and I thought I had organized what I had to do, but when I stepped onto the court, I couldn't do it. How should I put it? I think I didn't have a good idea of what I wanted to do before the match, or how to create that image. I wasn't able to perform as well as I usually do.
-What do you want to work on in preparation for your next chance as a starter?
Miyaura: That goes for during the game, but I want to be prepared from practice onwards so that I can contribute to the team whenever I play... Yes, that's what I'm talking about.
-About the recent FIFA World Cup. Before the Japan vs Croatia match, you posted a photo on social media with your Croatian teammate Zukowski. There are many players on NISZA from countries that advanced to the top of the tournament, so was there a lot of excitement within the team?
Miyaura: That's right. Morocco, Argentina, Croatia, Japan and Poland all made it to the final tournament, although Tunisia was eliminated. We all had a lot of fun, making predictions and wondering who would win with what score. And the final went into overtime, right? We started practicing at 6, and if the final hadn't gone into overtime it would have finished at 6, but it went into overtime, so we extended the start of practice and watched the overtime together (laughs). We were so excited that we watched the overtime, saw Argentina win, and then started practicing. And that day, Zerba was practicing in an Argentina uniform (laughs).
