He made his senior national team debut at the age of 19 in 2021, and was selected as a starter at the Tokyo Olympics that same year. His high, sharp spikes and serves, which he fires from his left arm, are extremely destructive. He also has experience as a libero during his under-18 years, and is adept at defense as well. As a club player, he has won numerous titles as a main player for Italy's powerful Trentino.
