Poland national team OP Wołanczy: "It's good for the team that we can fight no matter who plays" [Poland Men's Volleyball]

On Sunday, May 4th (local time), the second match of the Polish Prslyga PO third place deciding match between Warsaw and Jastrziebuski Wenger was held, with Warsaw winning 3 - 1 (28-30, 26-24, 25-21, 25-20) against Jastrziebuski. Having won the first match, Warsaw has now won two matches in a row, and is now just one win away from third place.

After the match, I spoke with OP Bartłomey Bołącz, a Polish national team player who plays for Warsaw and was awarded the MVP of the match. He agreed to a short interview, although he said, "I can't speak much English."

T: Congratulations on your victory. Looking back on today's match, how do you feel?

Bołżnci: It was a tough match because Jastrzciębie is a top team, but I'm happy with the win and I'm looking forward to giving it my all in the next match in Jastrzciębie.

T: Your performance today was outstanding (19 points, tied for the most on both teams (18 attacks, 1 block), and an attack efficiency rate of 531 TP and 3 T). This was your first long game since the quarterfinals, so was it difficult?

BoWonchi: It's been a really long and tough season so far, but we're all always prepared. We have 14 good players on the team, and I think it's good for us as a team that we can fight no matter who's out there.

T: You spoke with Poland's coach Grbic earlier. Are you ready for the national team?

Bołonci: Yes, it depends on my condition because I'm not perfect yet. But I hope everything goes well and I can join the national team like the other players.
