Toshiki:How do you feel looking back on today's game?
Bottolo: We did very well. We were able to take the match to five sets against the Olympic champions, France, so I think we played good volleyball throughout the match.
It hurts because we came so close to winning and getting to the semi-finals, so it's hard to comment on the match right now because of all those emotions.
We were a great group and should be proud of ourselves.
But it really was just a little while away.
Toshiki: How do you feel looking back on the past two weeks that you have been working with the Young Young team?
Botolo: We can do better. Our first match against Poland was good, but it wasn't the best volleyball we could have played.
In the match against Slovenia, I struggled a lot with the pressure from the crowd, but it was a way to grow and move forward, and I was able to improve after that.
Toshiki: I think the Olympic athlete selection will begin tomorrow.
Bottolo: Yes. I don't know what the coach is thinking right now, but from tomorrow we have to think about whether I can take part in the Olympics.
Toshiki: Are you confident?
Bottolo: I don't know. On the one hand I want to train hard to be useful to the team, but on the other hand I don't want to just be a substitute.
The results are immediately visible.
