In the 25th round of the French Men's Volleyball League, Paris, which includes Miyaura Kento and Kai Yuto, played against Nice on Saturday, March 16th (local time) and won 3-2 (18-25, 25-15, 25-10, 18-25, 15-13). Miyaura Kento started and scored 28 points, earning MVP honors, while Kai Yuto came on as a substitute and scored 18 points.
Toshiki: Please give us your reflections on today's match.
Miyaura: The gap in the game was quite large, so it was difficult emotionally and I felt that our weaknesses may have come out in the results. I'm glad we won in the end, but I hope we can make the necessary corrections to prevent this from happening again.
Kai: We weren't doing very well in the early part of the match, so I was watching from the outside and hoping that if I got a chance to play, I could change the atmosphere. And as a result, in the end, we won, although it was a close call, so I'm really glad.
Toshiki: What did you think of each other's play today?
Miyaura: When Kai came on to the court today, he really showed the difference, and changed the atmosphere of the team, so that was a big help. He also contributed a lot with his serves, so he really helped us out in today's match.
Kai: I really needed that one point, but I got a spike or a service ace, so I was able to play comfortably. That one point helped me a lot because it allowed me to relax.
Toshiki: With today's result, we have qualified for the playoffs in 8th place, and our opponent will be Chaumont, who is in 1st place. Please say a few words about the playoffs.
Miyaura: We still have one more game left in the league, so I think we need to focus on playing our own style of volleyball and make it a game that will lead to the next one.
Kai: We were disappointed with our loss (to Chaumont) in a full set last time, so we know we still have a lot to offer in a full set match. First of all, we just want to finish our final match before the playoffs next week in a good way.
