Comments from Coach Kento Hayashi
The regular season is drawing to an end, and a very important week has begun in determining the standings.
The opponent's attention is on OH's Blackie, who is known for his powerful and wild dynamic play.
Our strategy was to put stress on our main player, Blackie, with our serves and blocks from the beginning. On the other hand, our reception was disrupted and we had a tough start, but as expected, our pressure strategy on Blackie worked and we were able to win.
The day after the match, the news came that Busto's manager had been fired. It was a real reminder that we are in a tough world.
This season alone, many teams, including Bergamo, Casalmaggiore, Busto, and Trentino, have had their managers fired midway through the season. This is rare in Japan, but it is the reality of the world where results are strictly pursued.
With the regular season coming to an end, the league has announced changes to the regulations, and a decision has been made that regular season results will directly determine Europa League qualification, meaning the results over the past few weeks will have a bearing on next year.
I'll run through it with all my might!
