Interview with Kento Miyaura
T: How do you feel looking back on the match?
Miyaura: I'm glad that we won the match 3-0 as a team, but I personally wasn't in good shape today. I think it was good that I was able to score at key moments in the first set, but in the second set, some things didn't go well for me, and I couldn't go all out from the middle. That was a really tough stretch, but I personally think I was able to recover well in the third set, so I think this was a good experience for me, and I would like to make the parts of the match that I was able to recover into my own.
T: What specifically did you do to recover during the match?
Miyaura: Yes, really, how can I put it, I was concentrating on myself. The atmosphere in the venue was really lively, so I tried to organize my thoughts once more, and really enter my own world, so as not to be swept away by the atmosphere in the venue, or by the other people's atmosphere, I tried to keep that in mind.
T: The team has now won four straight league games and five straight games if cup matches are included. What do you think is the reason for this success?
Miyaura: Up until now, when things weren't going well for me, I would sometimes lose out because of it, but everyone around me worked so hard when I wasn't doing so well, so I really want to be grateful to everyone around me for that. I also think that I need to work even harder, and I want us to continue to support each other in this way.
T: Please tell us your enthusiasm for the upcoming French Cup quarter-finals.
Miyaura: Personally, I would like to improve on the areas I reflected on today, and I think the next game will be a really important one, so I would like to work hard as a team there.
