Match Report
On this day, Nisa's regular starter Kfasovski was unwell, so due to foreign player quota restrictions, they started with reserve setter Szczuk in the starting lineup.
In the first set, Bełchatov received a serve from Poland's middle-back Bieniek, and Poland's veteran middle-back Kłos made successive blocks and quick plays, followed by a spike from OH Koi, putting Bełchatov in the lead at 2-5 from the early stages.
However, Nisa gradually gained breaks from here with spikes from OP Ventara and blocks from MB Zerba, and managed to turn the game around to 12-9.
From then on, side outs continued towards the end of the match, but Bełhatov turned the game around to 19-21 with three consecutive breaks, including two aces, from OH Kooi's serve, and then he scored consecutive breaks with a block from MB Bieniek from MB Kłos' serve, to take the set 20-25.
In the second set, MB Bieniek's serves were strong from the beginning, and Bełchatov quickly extended his lead to 1-5.
Nisa quickly got a break with a spike and serve from OP Ventala to bring the score to 5-6, but Ventala's mistake allowed consecutive points to be scored again, making the score 5-10, and Beulhatov was unable to close the gap.
Even after that, Nisa continued to close the gap, but Beluhatov pulled away again, and Nisa closed the gap to just two points at 18-20 in the final stages, but MB Bieniek stood in his way with blocks and serves to make it 19-23, and finally, a serve error by OP Ventala allowed Beluhatov to take the set 21-25.
In the third set, with no other options, Nysa started the game with OH Buszek, a veteran who has also played for the Polish national team, replacing the struggling OH Gerzhod.
From the beginning, both teams traded side-outs, and Nisa scored points mainly through OH El Graoui and Bełhatov through OP Atanaszevic, leading to a score of 11-10.
From there, Nisa extended its lead to 14-10 with a service ace from OH El Graoui, and then OH Lanza missed three consecutive attacks, putting Nisa in a 7-point lead at 20-13 going into the final stages of the set.
From there, Nysa continued to widen the gap with blocks from S. Szczurek, and finally, a serve error from Bełhatov made it 25-16, giving Nysa the set.
In the fourth set, Nisa scored the first point with an ace from OH Busek, and then S. Szczurek also got an ace, giving them a good start at 5-2.
Nisa's OP Ventala and OH El Graoui continued their good form in attack and scored a lot of goals.
After that, OP Ventara made two breaks, including an ace, on his serve, and then OH Busek made three breaks on his serve, giving Nisa a big lead of 14-6.
Bełhatov also scored four consecutive breaks from MB Klos and others off OP Atanaszevic's serve, bringing the score to 17-15, within two points, but they were unable to turn the game around. In the end, a service ace from S. Szczuk made it 25-21 and Nisa took the set, sending the match into a tiebreak.
In the fifth set, MB Bieniek started off by scoring an ace with a powerful serve, and then continued to attack Nysa with his serves, scoring five consecutive breaks, including three aces, to take a 0-5 lead as Bełhatov got off to a good start.
Shortly afterwards, Nisa also made it 3-5 with a block from MB Zerba, but with a block from MB Kvos as well, Beluhatov maintained a 3-point lead at 5-8 and the court changed.
However, Nisa then launched a furious counterattack.
OH El Graoui's varied serves shook up his opponent, and then OP Ventala's counter attacks led to three consecutive breaks, giving Nisa a successful comeback to take the score 9-8.
OP Ventala then hit two consecutive service aces and three consecutive breaks to put her at match point at 14-11, and OP Ventala then made the final push to take the set at 15-12, giving Nisa a major comeback in the full set and a victory in the final match of 2022.
MVP: OP Wasim Bentala (35 points (5 serves, 1 block), attack success rate 63%)
Miyaura played as a relief server in the first and second sets of the match, but did not score any points.
With this, Nisa has risen to provisional 5th place with a total of 10 wins, 8 losses and 32 points.
The next match will be at home against Radom, who are in 15th place, on Friday, January 8th at 17:30 local time (1:30 the next day Japan time).

Thoughts etc.
This day was an on-site interview!
He returned to Poland from Italy that day, but his flight was delayed, meaning his arrival at the Belhatov venue that day was also significantly delayed.
When I got there the first set had already finished.
Perhaps because it's the end of the year, there are a few empty seats.

However, the large number of Nisa fans stood out among them!
Beluhatov is not that close to Nisa (3 hours one way by bus), but the cheering squad was so large that it seemed like the full team was there.
Nisa fans are really passionate.

Well, Skra Beukhatov (hereinafter referred to as Skra) is also a popular and traditional club, so of course the supporters were not to be outdone.

As for the match, Nisa lost the first set and then the second set, and it looked like she was going to lose in straight sets.
Goal scorer Gerjot was being held back and the serve reception was also unstable, making the situation difficult.
Also, the band members weren't in top form either, and I was secretly wondering if I'd just have to watch two sets and then go home, even though I was late.
In contrast to Nisa, Skura was a team with both midfielders scoring points with spikes, blocks, and serves, and they were doing well in this match until the second set.
Bieniek in particular is now a monster midfielder on par with Simon and Muserski.
The middle player is truly amazing, being able to exert so much pressure with his spikes, blocks, and above all his serves.

It's just a threat.
Just like Nisa, I was watching the game thinking that I wish the Japanese national team had a mid-range shot like this too (laughs).
However, after replacing Gerjot with Busek, who is good friends with Miyaura, in the third set, their reception began to stabilize and their serves also got stronger, allowing them to take the third and fourth sets in no time.
In addition to Ventala, who was the MVP on the day, El Graoui was also in top form, scoring many points with his spikes and serves.
It's truly an African festival!! (lol)
However, I was a little sad that from the third set onwards, setter Zukowski started to be used as the reliever server instead of Miyaura...
However, just when it seemed they could keep up this momentum and go through to the fifth set with ease, the giant Bieniek stood in their way.
Five consecutive breaks, and then suddenly five consecutive breaks in the fifth set.
Bieniek is so insane, he has an incredible final boss vibe.
This is usually pretty hopeless.
If you're down 0-5 in the fifth set of a 15-point game, you've almost always lost.
As I was watching, I was thinking, "Ah, it's over..."
But the Nisa players did not give up.
Here too, two Africans showed up.
El Graoui opened the way with his serve and turned the game around, and then Ventala hit two consecutive aces to put the finishing blow on Bełhatov and seal the game!!!
I had forgotten that Nisa also had a final boss named Ventara (lol).
The Nisa bench, including Miyaura, came out every time we scored a point towards the end of the fifth set and were really into it; it was fun to watch towards the end (laughs).

It really was an amazing comeback!!!
Scrafan was a huge failure though...
Things like this make volleyball so fun!
Spall really doesn't know what's going to happen.
When interviewed after the match, Miyaura also seemed surprised by the comeback.
With this being Nisa's fourth consecutive win, it seemed like she had truly shaken off the bad mood she had experienced for a while.
I hope they can continue this momentum in 2023 and make it to the playoffs.
In 2022, Miyaura played as the opposite in one match but was unable to stay on the court until the end and win.
Our opposite forward, Ventala, is a truly amazing player, but I hope he will get a chance to play next year and win the MVP award at least once!!
keep it up!!!!
