Match Report
Early in the first set, S. Payonc hit two consecutive aces to give Rubin a 3-0 lead, but OP Ventala's attacks quickly allowed Nisa to catch up to 3-3, and then OH El Graoui's varied serves, coupled with pipe attacks from himself and blocks from OH Kfasovski allowed Nisa to take the lead 7-4.
After that, Nysa's OH Kfasovski and Rubin's OH Kovalov and others fought for side outs, but Rubin tied the score at 12-12 with two consecutive aces from OH Ferens.
However, Nisa's MB Abramovic blocked Rubin's OP Lorenz to put them two points ahead at 18-16, and then relief server OP Miyaura hit an ace to extend the lead to 22-19, giving Nisa momentum.
Finally, OH El Graoui scored a spike from a good dig by OP Ventara, and Nisa took the set 25-21.
In the second set, Nisa took consecutive breaks from S. Zukowski's powerful serve to take an early lead at 3-1.
After that, Rubin broke consecutively to tie the score at 9-9, but with a block from OH El Graoui and an ace from S Zukowski, Japan quickly made it 11-9.
With further blocks from OH Kfasovski and attacks from OP Ventala, Nisa further extended the lead to 20-15.
Rubin tried to turn the situation around by making two substitutions, but they were unable to stop Nisa's momentum, as relief server OP Miyaura again scored a break from a good serve, and in the end OH Kwasovski scored a spike to give Nisa the set, 25-21.
In the third set, with no other options, Rubin started with OP Kapita and MB Mbaye.
However, right from the start, OH El Graoui scored two spikes and two service aces, and Nisa pulled away from Rubin with a 5-1 lead.
After that, MB Jankowski's spike, MB Abramovic's block and serve, and OH Kfasovski's fourth block of the match meant that Nysza maintained a large lead of 19-13 as the game approached the final stages.
From there, S. Zukowski scored two attacks and relief server OP Miyaura scored a service ace to seal the win, putting Nisa up 22-15.
Rubin closed the gap to three points at 22-19 with a service ace from OH Ferens at the end, but in the end, captain Kwasovski, who was in good form, scored a spike to give Nysza a 3-0 victory over Rubin, taking the set 25-21.

The report for the first half is here:
Thoughts etc.
On this day, we were there to watch and cover the event!!
I had returned to Poland from Italy the day before and was wondering if it would be cold, but I was relieved to find that the temperature had not dropped as much as I had expected.
However, the snow had melted nicely and the roads were very slippery and difficult to navigate.
By the way, I fell on my bottom once in front of the inn (lol) (the ground was ice so it was pretty bad for my bottom...)
And so we entered the venue.

It's about 5:30pm and it's already pitch black.
When I entered the stadium, the players had already started warming up.
There are still many customers.

On this day, I also purchased a large amount of Nisa goods that had been ordered via Twitter.
Thank you so much to everyone who placed orders and to the staff at Nisa who prepared the products!!

On this day, as always, Miyaura was playing some fun one-on-one passing with Nico (Zerva) and then moved on to practicing attacks and serves.
And then the match begins.

Gerjot, who is usually a starter and the team's top point scorer, started on the bench, which was unusual for him.
Although Rubin is a lower-ranked team, they have the power to beat higher-ranked teams if they get on a roll, so I was a bit worried at first, and I was quite nervous when my opponent hit two consecutive service aces in the first set...
However, that was the end of my worries, and the rest of the race was just Nisa's pace.
Just like in her last match against Suwalki, her attacks, serves, blocks and receives were all performed well at a high level.
In particular, the team's attack effectiveness rate (= (number of successful attempts - runs conceded) / number of attempts) was very high at 531 TP3T, and the performance was amazing, with the three players on the wings each scoring double digits in attack!
El Graoui, who came on in place of Gergiot, was also in good form.
El Graoui is the 2019 African Beach Volleyball Championship champion and a technician who will also be competing as a beach volleyball representative at the Tokyo Olympics.
That potential was on full display in this match.
Captain Kfausovski, who won the MVP award, also performed well.
When he made a block in the middle of the second set, initially he had his arms spread out to the side, but he closed them just before his opponent hit, shutting them down beautifully, and I couldn't help but smile at how amazing it was (laughs).
And our own Miyaura did a great job too!
He had service aces in the first and third sets, and in the second set he served to assist his teammate's block, demonstrating his professionalism as he always gets a break at least once when he goes up to serve.

However, Gerjot, who always lifts me up so much that my shorts get stuck in my pants when I get an ace, wasn't on the court, so the first set felt a little lonely, but when I got an ace in the third set, he came running over from the bench to congratulate me (laughs).
Gerjot, I like you too (lol)

I watched Rubin a lot last season because Japan's Sekita was there, but it's looking tough this season too...
It was also great to see the passionate exchange between the Nisa players and the fans after the win!!!
Player: "Kto wygra mecz? (Who will win the match?)"

All the fans shouted: "Stal!!!"

Player: "Kto?! (Who?)"
All the fans: "Stal!!!!!"
Player: "Kto?! (Who?)"
All the fans: "Stal!!!!!!"
This was repeated about three times and everyone was having a great time!!
I thought that this kind of loving and passionate interaction between the fans and players was something that could only be seen by watching the game live in Europe, and it made me feel very warm inside.
All things considered, this was my first time seeing Nisa win at home, so it made me want to see more of them winning at home.
However, this is our last home game of the year, so the next one will be next year.
We will continue to interview Nisa and Kento Miyaura next year, so please continue to support us!
