National team career

Lisinac had already achieved good results in major competitions since he was in the under-age category, winning bronze medals at the European Junior Championships in 2010 and the World Junior Championships in 2011, and a silver medal at the U23 World Championships in 2013. One of the reasons for this was that there were many promising athletes in his generation, such as Atanasević and Kovacević the younger brother, and there is no doubt that he was one of those promising athletes.

He then made it to the senior national team in 2012. Although he was not selected for the London Olympics that year, he began to be on the bench at international competitions from the following year. However, the wall of the two starting midfielders Stankovic and Podrascanin, who had led Serbia since the late 2000s, was thick, and he did not have many opportunities to play at the 2013 European Championships, where he won the bronze medal. However, from the following year, 2014, he became a regular starter, replacing Stankovic. Since then, he has contributed greatly to the team's success, including runner-up in the 2015 World League, winning the 2016 World League, third place in the 2017 European Championships, and winning the 2019 European Championships.

However, they have yet to compete in the Olympics. Even for a strong Serbia, it is very difficult to get through the European qualifiers. However, Lisinac is 28 years old this year, so considering his age, he has few chances left. At the next Olympics in Paris after Tokyo, the strong France may not participate in the qualifiers, so I hope that they will somehow be able to participate in the Olympics for the first time in 12 years.

Club career

Lisinac began his career at the age of 17 in 2009 at his hometown club Kraljevo, and in 2012, at the age of 20, he moved to Czestochowa in the Polish first division. He played as a starter for the entire season. In the following year, 2013/14, he moved to the German powerhouse Berlin, where he contributed greatly to the team's league victory. His performance there was highly praised, and he played for the prestigious Polish club Skra Bełchatów from the 2014/15 season onwards. In his first season, he did not get many opportunities to play due to the foreign player quota, but from the second season onwards he was a regular starter. In his third and fourth seasons, he became such an indispensable member of the team that he was sometimes the best scorer in the game despite playing in a middle position. During his time with the team, the team won the league once, was runner-up once, and came in third twice. The team also achieved good results in the Polish Cup, winning once and coming runner-up twice. Lisinac is fluent in Polish as well as English and Italian.

After gaining a solid track record in Poland, he moved to Trentino Valley, a prestigious club in Italy's Serie A, in the 2018/19 season. Lisinac played an active role as a central player for the team from his first season, and was the driving force behind the team's victory in the World Club Championship, the CEV Cup, and third place in the Italian League. He is also highly trusted by the Italian national team setter, Gianelli, who is also on the team. His contract will see him stay with Trento until the 2021/22 season. Trento has made significant reinforcements from next season, including Lucarelli and Abdel Aziz, so the team is even more exciting to watch.

Features

Lisinac is amazing in everything from attack to serve to block. First of all, his height, power, and wide quickness make him extremely decisive. This is clearly reflected in the numbers, with his total attack success rate in the 2019/20 season being an astonishing 63.53%, the highest in Serie A. He also ranks 19th among all players in the Italian first division in terms of serve effectiveness. Furthermore, his blocks are 0.69 per set, second only to the Cuban monster Simon. However, he is ranked first in the overall middle blocker rankings, surpassing Simon. It is safe to say that Lisinac is now one of the "monsters". It is no wonder that in interviews with Serie A players, many players named him as the middle of their dream team.

Also, personally, he is my classmate (Yanagita generation), so in that sense I have been paying attention to him for a while and he is a player I would like to continue to support.
