Match Report

In the first set, Nisa started to score points by spreading the ball around well, and with a block from OH Kfasovski and a spike from OP Ventala, they took a big lead of 10-6.

However, when the serve came to Rzeszow's MB Kochanowski at 12-10, he made a series of excellent serves to break down Nysa's receivers, and with three consecutive breaks, including an ace of his own, Rzeszow took the lead at 12-13.

While Nisa made a series of mistakes in the middle game, Rzeszów's serve worked well and they consistently broke the ball with blocks from S. Zizga and MB Kozamelnik, gradually widening the gap in points.

At 14-15, Miyaura also came onto the court as a relief server, but made a rare mistake.

Rzeszów further widened the gap to 15-20 with some aces against MB Kozamelnik.

From there, Nisa closed the gap to 21-23 with an ace from OP Ventara, but in the end, a cross spike from OH Chebui was enough to give Rzeszow the set 22-25.

In the second set, Rzeszów continued to target OH Gerdzhot of Nysa with his serves from the beginning, trying to disrupt his serve reception, but OP Ventala and Gerdzhot themselves scored points to make the set 6-5.

But then OH Defalco scored a spike, a block and a serve, and Rzeszow broke the ball and took a 10-14 lead.

After that, Rzeszow continued to score points, mainly through spikes from OH Defalco, and gradually increased their lead, going into the end of the set at 15-22.

Nisa tried to improve the situation by bringing on OP Miyaura, S Szczurek, and OH Elgraoui, but the score difference did not narrow, and in the end, a high spike from substitute OP Muzai was successful, and Rzeszow took the set 18-25.

In the third set, Nisa started the match with MB Jankowski replacing MB Abramovic, and Rzeszow started the match with OP Muzaj replacing OP Butski.

Immediately after the start, both teams made mistakes and the score gap did not widen, but then Rzeszów took the lead at 5-7 with an ace from S. Zizga.

After a long rally, OH Kwasovski and OP Ventala scored spikes for Nysa to tie the score at 12-12 in the middle of the game, but they made a serve error with just one point left, and from there Rzeszow made consecutive blocks, putting them behind at 12-15.

Immediately after that, Rzeszow scored a break with consecutive blocks from S. Zizga's serve to extend the lead to 13-19, and Nisa brought on OP Miyaura, S. Štūrek, and OH Elgraoui, as in the second set, but a service ace from Zizga and combination mistakes from Nisa made it 13-24, allowing eight consecutive breaks with just this rotation.

After that, they finally got a side out due to a serve error by S. Zizga, but in the end, MB Kochanowski's powerful quick was a beautiful hit, and Rzeszow won the set by a large margin of 14-25, defeating Nysa 0-3.

MVP: OH Tory Defalco (18 points (2 serves, 4 blocks), 57% attack success rate)

Miyaura Kento scored 1 point and had an attack success rate of 331 TP and 3 T.

With this, Nisa is now in provisional 8th place with a total of 6 wins, 7 losses and 20 points.

The next match will be against 10th-placed Warsaw at home on Tuesday, December 6th at 16:15 local time (0:15 the next day Japan time).

Thoughts etc.

This day was an on-site interview.

The venue, Rzeszow, is a memorable place for me as it was the place where I first watched the Polish League about 10 years ago, and it is the place that got me hooked on Polish volleyball (lol).

The arena can accommodate a maximum of 4,300 people, so you can see the game well from any seat. Rzeszow has a lot of passionate fans, so if you're going to watch volleyball in Poland, this is a recommended arena that you should definitely visit at least once!

Even though the game started at 5:30 p.m. on a weekday, more than 2,000 fans packed the venue.

There were also some Nisa fans there!!

Nisafan

The result of the match was disappointing, but Nisa was defeated badly.

OH Gerjot's serve was disrupted and he was substituted, but his serve reception didn't improve much and his offensive power decreased, so side outs remained difficult, and although we wanted to attack with our serves, we weren't able to see any results...

I think there were a lot of serve errors in this match in particular.

Early in the league, even when our opponents' serves were breaking us down, we were able to serve even harder and win games, but in the last three games that we have lost, our serves have not been working well.

I think the number of service aces has also decreased.

Gerjot's serve, especially after scoring an ace in every game at the beginning of the season, seems to be lacking in vitality.

Because it isn't working, some players try to control the serve by reducing their power to 70 or 80 percent, but even that often doesn't get the ball over the net.

Gerjot's serve hasn't been good in practice recently, so I hope he can get over this slump quickly and get back to the cool form he had at the beginning of the season.

I was also concerned about the combination mistake at the end of the third set.

Setter Szczuk tossed the ball to Miyaura, but he ended up getting in the way of Miyaura's run-up, preventing Miyaura from spiking.

I had never seen such a mistake before, so I got the impression that there was something wrong with the team atmosphere, or the mood, or that they had gotten stuck in some kind of bad quagmire.

Rzeszów is certainly a strong team, but it felt more like they were self-destructing rather than being superior opponents.

There was a sense of frustration in the players' expressions.

We know from their performance at the beginning of the season that they have the strength, so I hope they can somehow overcome this difficult situation and achieve some wins again.

There is another game next week, so I hope they can get a win there no matter what and then get on a roll and continue racking up wins!

The key player on the team is OH Gerjot, and I'm looking forward to seeing him go wild again with his serves as well as his serve reception!

Of course, I want to see Miyaura as the MVP!!

JAZDA NYSA!!
