Match Report

In the first set, Nisa's serve and defense worked well from the beginning, and they got off to a good start with an ace from OH Gerjot to take an 8-3 lead.

Olsztyn also scored points with quick plays and blocks from MB Evril, but Nysa extended their lead to 20-13 with consecutive breaks thanks to spikes from OH Kfasovski and a fast serve from Setterszkowski.

After that, they were down to just two points at one point, but MB Abramovic blocked a strong serve from Miyaura, who was used as a relief server in the final stages, giving them a set point, and finally, with an opponent's serve error, the score was 25-20, and Nisa took the first set.

The second set continued to be a close match until the middle.

Nisa's OP Ventara scored a high spike, while Olsztyn's OP Butrin scored a powerful spike, with neither team giving an inch.

Olsztyn briefly took the lead at 14-17 after a block by Evril, but then Nysa's Zukowski made two consecutive attacks and then a good serve led to consecutive breaks, including a block by MB Zerba, to turn the game around and take the lead 22-18.
Olsztyn found himself in a difficult position as Butorin's spikes, which had been hitting surprisingly well until the middle of the game, were no longer hitting at all.

On the other hand, Nisa's Ventala continued to perform well, and with a final spike from Ventala, Nisa took the set 25-19.

In the third set, Olsztyn replaced Butrin with Krul as OP.

Krul lived up to expectations, scoring one spike after another, and NISA's Kwasovski and Ventala also scored consecutive spikes, leaving the score at 16-15 as the set drew to a close.

At this point, Nisa brought in relief server Miyaura again.

A sharp diagonal serve bounced off OH Lipinski's arm and became an ace, putting Nysa in the lead at 17-15.

After that, Nysa extended her lead to 23-18 with a service ace from Ventala and a break point from a good dig by Liberobiniec, who came in this set, and finally a spike from captain Kwasovski made it 25-20, and Nysa took the set as well, securing a straight set victory over Olsztyn.

The MVP was OH Kwasovski, who scored 10 points (including 1 block) and recorded an attack success rate of 601 TP and 3 T.

As a result, Nisa now has a total record of 5 wins, 2 losses and 16 points, maintaining their provisional third place position.

Their next match will be against Lublin away on Sunday, November 6th at 17:30 local time (1:30 am Japan time).

Thoughts etc.

Miyaura got the ace again!!

And he was lifted up by Gerjot again (lol)

Although I didn't get an ace in the first set, I was able to assist my teammates in breaking, so my break rate today was 2/2, 100%.

As has always been the case, Miyaura's break rate with the serve is really high.

At least when it comes to serving, he has definitely earned the trust of the coach and the expectations of the fans!!

It feels like they do something every time.

Not just Miyaura, but Nisa's serves overall were very effective today.

In the previous match, Nysa's OH Gerdjot was targeted and completely destroyed by the opponent's serves, but in this match, Nysa targeted her opponent's OH Lipinski thoroughly and broke him down, successfully scoring a total of six aces.

Also, because his serve was effective, his blocks also worked well, earning 11 block points in the three sets.

It really made me realise that Nisa's strength is her serve.

Kfasowski, the MVP, of course played brilliantly, but personally I would have preferred for Zukowski to win the MVP award.

I'm sure the mental damage to his opponent from his consecutive two attacks in the second set, as well as his serve, must have been huge (laughs).

However, I am concerned about the low number of mid-range shots and the low success rate.

This will be his challenge.

Setter Zukowski

On the other hand, I wish Olsztyn had tried harder.

Like Nisa, he has had a great run of results up to this point, and his opposite, Butrin, is a player I personally like, so I would have liked to see more of an exciting battle with Ventara...

Personally, I would like these two to be the opposite players for Poland!

Oh, sorry, Clek... (lol).

Anyway, Nisa is gaining more and more momentum!!

I hope Miyaura gets more screen time!!!
