Meet our team
Last season was a season of great results, including reaching the Supercoppa final and winning the CEV Cup, the club's first title in history, but they also finished in a disappointing 7th place in the league.
This season, the team planned to acquire Brazilian setter Fernando and aim for a high ranking, but Fernando was removed from the roster after injuring his leg in a pre-season training match. Instead, he was playing in the Polish league.Zimmermannwas quickly added.
Also, since last season, the face of Monza has been the oppositeGlozelHe is 38 years old and a former member of the German national team, but his play shows no signs of slowing. His spikes and serves, which come from his high jumps and his sturdy physique like a rugby player, are truly lethal weapons, earning him the nickname "Hammer Georgi." He is one of my favorite players among the opposites, so be sure to check him out. The way his serves curve when viewed from the other end of the court is brutal.
Also, outside player Ishikawa played with him at Milan two seasons ago.MarHe is also a very attractive player who puts his feelings forward. As a midfielder, he contributed to the Italian national team's victory at this year's World Championships as a starter, and was also selected as the best midfielder.GalassiThis team is also good at blocking, but also has a high scoring ability with quick and serve.Schwartz (Canada)He's quite a handsome guy, so keep him in mind (lol).
Monza has been a regular in the playoffs for the past few seasons, so this season they want to aim for the top four or better in both the Coppa Italia and the league. There is no doubt that the setter is the key to achieving this.
Also, the colouring of the uniforms this season is quite unique and I don't really like that (laughs).
