The fifth round of the Polish men's volleyball first division, Plusliga, has ended. Rubin, which includes Japan national team setter Seita Sekita, played against Katowice at home. They won 3-1, earning their second win in the league.

Rubin vs Katowice 3-2 (25-27, 25-20, 25-19, 25-19)
On this day, Sekita played from the start. Rubin lost the first set to his opponent after a close match, but from the second set onwards, Rubin continued to lead the match with a stable defense and a variety of attacks, winning 3-1 for his second win in the league.
On this day in particular, the combination of setter Sekita and the two middle-range players Gunia (Poland) and Klage (Germany) was outstanding, and they actively launched quick shots from a little distance away, increasing the attack effectiveness rate by over 65%.
Captain OH Ferens (Poland) was also in top form, scoring 22 points, the most on the team, including two aces, and his attack success rate was 75%, meaning that almost anything he hit would win. Naturally, he was the MVP of the day.
Katowice, the opponent, had a member of the team who tested positive for the new coronavirus, and it was a match after the team had recovered, so it cannot be denied that the team was not in good condition. However, even taking that into account, Rubin's performance was excellent, and Sekita, who showed a good setup by making the most of all the attackers, also performed well.
Rubin's next opponent is Olsztyn. They are a little higher ranked, but if they can play like they did today, it won't be a problem! Powodzenia, Lubin!!!!
