Thai Women's 2025 World Volleyball Teams and Notable Players

Meet our team

Thailand is the host country of this tournament and advanced to the final tournament after finishing second in Pool A.

Like Japan, they lack height and big guns, but their volleyball style relies on solid defense to control rallies. Furthermore, their team's attacks, led by veteran setter Pom Pun, are fast-paced, making it difficult for the opposing team to focus on their block.

Volleyball is also extremely popular in Thailand (especially among women), and the large local cheering squads are a great source of support.

Many of the players play or have played for Japanese clubs and know Japanese players well.
